Video: The gift of a healthy Thanksgiving
Dr. Katherine Dallow offers her perspective on ensuring our loved ones stay safe, as Thanksgiving approaches and coronavirus rates spike across the country.
“Holidays are a time to gather with extended family, and share meals and make memories,” Dallow says. “But this year, the kindest thing we can do for far-off loved ones is connect by phone or video or maybe for a walk outdoors, wearing masks.”
COVID-19 spreads easily indoors, especially during meals and conversation.
And we are seeing high rates of infection all across the country.
Missing one Thanksgiving together, is a small price to pay to keep us healthy.
