Charles Stein is a writer who contributes articles to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

A longtime business journalist, Stein was a staff writer and business columnist for the Boston Globe and a reporter for Bloomberg News. He has appeared frequently on television and radio and hosted a radio program for Bloomberg.

Stein is a graduate of the University of Michigan and was a Bagehot Fellow at Columbia University. He and his wife Joanne have an adult son and live in Watertown.
