Katie Hamilton

Katie Hamilton is former manager of corporate citizenship at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Blue Cross, Katie worked in the non-profit sector. She began her career fundraising at the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston and then transitioned to work for social service organizations including the pilot launch of I Am Waters, an organization committed to supplying water to Texas’ homeless shelters. After moving to Boston, she worked in corporate relations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston where she helped launch their corporate partnership program, led their cause marketing initiatives, and managed their corporate volunteer program.

Katie is personally committed to helping Boston youth and has served as a Big Sister for the past three years, volunteered as a homework helper at the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club, and is on leadership committees for the South End Community Health Center and United South End Settlements.

Katie graduated from Washington and Lee University with a double degree in business administration and art history and earned her master’s in communication management from Emerson College. She lives in the South End with her husband and two young boys.
